I bought a new 50 inch plasma a few months ago. Then I bought the moviemate about one month ago and I haven’t touched my plasma. In fact, I’m going to sell it. I love the moviemate. It’s addictive. I created a homemade movie screen out of a full size white sheet and a couple of 8 foot sticks from Home Depot and boom, instant movie theater in the home. The image is freaking huge. The speakers are very impressive for being built in. It runs quiet and looks sleek. I’m an indie filmmaker and I bought Epson MovieMate 60 Portable Projector mostly so that I could take it places and show my work. But now I’m also using it for movies. It makes watching TV and event, needless to say what it does for watching films. I highly recommend it. My poor plasma is just sitting there. Anyone want to buy it?

“Usage is not intuitive, especially when deleting an image. To delete an image, you have to dig into the menu and go into delete mode as oppose to simply deleting it. So there are a normal view mode and a delete mode and you’d have to navigate between the two. The worst part is that zooming works fine in normal view mode but is disabled in delete mode. It makes sense that when you delete something, you’d want to zoom in, at least for sanity check. ”
I use my SLR in sport mode, and take multiple shots in a row. Does the P-7000 make it easy to blaze through a big batch of action photos and delete Epson P-7000 160GB Multimedia Storage Drives that I don’t like?
This is a wonderful all-in-one projector. Great intuitive controls, fantastic sound (especially with a subwoofer Epson’s), great picture quality with upconverting DVD player. For the first time, the image seems a bit ‘dark (lamp is rated 1200 + lumens), but we understand the brightness control on the distance, and is more than enough (four levels) for most situations. The enclosed CD. Manual answer our questions when we otherwise no-brainer guide. IDo not print this guide extended, but can get what I need to know my computer in rare cases where it is not clear from the beautiful design of this projector
