Monday, October 11th, 2010I just needed a simple bathroom scale, and this one is perfect for me. I weighed myself 3 times in a row, moving the scale each time, and got the exact same results each time. I like the way the number blinks after it reaches your weight. I weigh myself without my glasses on. So, when I see the number blink I can get off and bend over and read the number. (It stays for a few seconds after I step off.) I have 20/200 vision, so the numbers aren’t quite big enough for me to see. But, I didn’t expect them to be. I’ve had the scale for just a month now, and so far I am very satisfied.

Pie Baby Mud Little run out
Saturday, August 14th, 2010This 16 gig SDHC card worked flawlessly for about a year. Suddenly, it failed. I downloaded special software to save the pics (over 1,500). After saving the photos, I was unable to reformat the card so I could use it again. Tried camera, two different PCs, Windows formatting, special SD card formatting software, FAT 32, exFAT — nothing worked. It did it’s job for a year, but now it’s useless.
KILL KILL BABY ok or not
Tuesday, August 10th, 2010Once again, I have to rate the DVD by its’ quality. This entertainment medium is ALL ABOUT great picture and fantastic sound. Although I appreciate the opportunity to see the Mario Bava movie, the DVD is not something that will excite your senses alone.
The DVD runs smoothly so at least it has that going for it. One can assume that this is all there is left to publish for this particular movie, even though it came years later than Bava’s first features.
You will be treated to a couple beautiful women as a feast for the eyes. One is dressed up and one is dressed down. There is an older, spooky woman and of course the female child is unsettling to look at. The spooky village is dirty and old, and it has a wonderful cemetary set.
Gee, I wish that I could have seen this movie when I was younger! It’s a film that I’ll play often.
