TAG Heuer Women s WAF1418.BA0812 Aquaracer Quartz Stainless Steel Pink Watch

Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010

TAG Heuer traces its roots to the small Swiss village of St-Imier where, in 1860, a watchmaker named Edouard Heuer opened his first shop. His vision was to create remarkable timepieces that pushed the envelope of innovation and precision. The company’s reputation grew, and Heuer’s first patent for a chronograph mechanism in 1882 was followed by a long list of achievements: the first stopwatch accurate to 1/100 of a second, the first dashboard stopwatch for race cars, the first miniature electronic timekeeping device accurate to 1/1000th of a second, and the first automatic movement with a microrotor, to name just a few.

EMU Australia Women’s Bronte Lo Boot

Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010

I know a lot of the reviews say to get a size smaller, but that wasn’t the case for me. I first ordered a size 7, I usually wear an 8.5, and they were WAY too small–like a size 7 would be. I ended having to pay to send them back and by the time I reordered them they jumped $20.00 in price! So, in regards to sizing listen to the manufacturer “1/2 sizes should round down.” I finally ended up with an 8 and they fit great! As far as “comfortableness” it actually took wearing them a couple times for them to feel good on my feet, but now they seem to be broken in and I love wearing them. They keep my feet warm and comfortable.

Macally Air-Alarm1 SecurityMan D.I.Y. Wireless Home Alarm System Kit

Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010

There are a lot of instructions on Macally Air-Alarm1 Wireless Home Alarm System Kit, although complicated at first, if you follow the instructions correctly and take your time to read them, it will work.

The package come with the included sensors already paired with the base, so, all I needed to do was to change the passwords and include my phone numbers.

When it calls me, I can hear what is going on ONLY if the alarm is in the silent mode, since it has a pretty loud noise coming from the base (where the mic is).

The door sensor works pretty good, every time I forgot to disarm, it goes off. The motion detector, it is not the most reliable, but it also works, I believe the reliability has to do with the fact that it seems to read the environment every 5 seconds or so.

Bayou Classic TB650 Triple Burner Outdoor Patio Stove with Extension Legs

Monday, June 21st, 2010

The large cooking surface measures a generous 14-1/4 by 39 inches so burner areas are big enough to accommodate stockpots up to 34 quarts for boiling pasta or even lobsters. Two side shelves extend the length to 60-1/2 inches across and provide a sturdy resting spot for pots when they are removed from the heat. The stove’s heavy-duty steel frame is hefty enough to support oversized pots or cast iron cookware and stands 13 inches tall on its own. The included extension legs raise the cook surface up 25 inches from the ground, which is a fairly comfortable level for people of average height. Extension legs simply slide on without requiring bolts or screws so they can be added and removed as necessary.

Sling Media Slingbox PRO-HD SB300-100

Monday, June 21st, 2010

This is very useful product, because majority of TV program does not require lots of attention, so it is good to watch it on computer, while doing something else. I have not tried connection over Internet, but picture quality on local network is very good. It was very easy to set it up. I had to replace composite cables with Sling Media Slingbox PRO-HD SB300-100 of better quality, but as the most of video products come with component cables that pick up interference, this was not a surprise. What I did not like is lack of the HD standalone player on Mac Os X (there is a web based version that works good, but I liked windows standalone player better, there is mac os x player, but it does not support HD). I am disappointed with the lack of close captioning, I am no expert, but I cant get CC on my TV with 1080i output, so it might be some common issue. Recording is not supported, but that did not surprise me at all.

Great bed for sore backs

Monday, June 21st, 2010

I’ve gotta say I had my doubts about some of the reviews. But this bed is spectacular! I had a great night’s sleep. It literally took 4 minutes to have the bed pumped up and the sheets on, straight out of the box. The picture is a little deceiving. It appears to be 20 inches off tall, but it is only 10. If you bought a second one, then that would be the perfect height. It fits back into the box with ALL the air out in about 10 minutes.
If I could give this a rating, it would be 11 out of 10! Well worth the money, easy to handle, easy to set up, and best of all, with the rough surfaced top, you will not roll off the edge. You stay right there. Wish it came in a king.

Lello 1375 Ariete Cafe Prestige Coffee Maker

Monday, June 21st, 2010

We’ve been using our Ariete Cafe Prestige for three weeks now and there is no question that this is an extraordinary product for the money. At about $90 I would say that it easily outperforms any machine three times its cost. It is solidly built, attractive, and relatively easy to use. I am an espresso addict who has lived in Italy, France, Germany, and Austria, and I can attest that Lello 1375 Ariete Cafe Prestige Coffee Maker will make as good an espresso or cappuccino as you will find in the best European cafes. Of course, the quality of your end product will depend on a number of factors, not the least of which are the coffee beans and grind; but with a little practice and attention to detail, you should be able to make a superior cup with Lello 1375 Ariete Cafe Prestige Coffee Maker using even the most ordinary ground espresso coffee.

Pokemon HeartGold Version

Monday, June 21st, 2010

We are all very happy with Gold and Silver. The graphics are nice, the music is well done, even going so far as to include a way to hear the original music if you want to. The gameplay is interesting: a fun turn based system (my favorite type of game style, personally) with the addition of double battles, minigames, etc. to make things more interesting for those (ahem, bf

Wireless Remote Shutter Release For Canon EOS 40D and 50D SLR Digital Cameras

Monday, June 21st, 2010

An external shutter release is virtually essential for several reasons, starting with sharpness.

Cable or wireless? Why NOT wireless? Expense? I tried the Opteka cable release for the 40D and had the same experience as others. Sure, it’s far cheaper. Mine (like others’) didn’t work.

Vivitar offers this transmitter / receiver combination at a reasonable and attractive price (only 4 are available as I write, so I’m glad I acted).

It arrived quickly. I excitedly read the brief but clear instructions, set it up on my 40D, and it didn’t work.

But THAT can’t be because it’s Vivitar.

Coby TFTV1524 15-Inch Widescreen TFT LCD HDTV/Monitor with HDMI Input

Sunday, June 20th, 2010

I don’t think Amazon could have shipped this any faster. It was here the next day and I ordered 3-day. Nice surprise, Amazon, and a really good unit, too. I like the picture when watching TV and DVDs, it’s sharp and clear, colors are fine. The menu selection is simple, straightforward and effective, easy to switch between sources and aspect ratios. The TV is small and light for carrying around and receives all the HD stations I need with a passive internal antenna. Of course, I’m right in town, otherwise I’d get an external.
