Karma Lekshe Tsomo

Karma Lekshe Tsomo lehrt Buddhismus und Weltreligionen in der Universität von San Diego.

Sie ist eine voll ordinierte US-amerikanische Nonne in der tibetisch-buddhistischen Tradition.

Sie ist die Präsidentin der Sakyadhita International Association of Buddhist Women und half massgeblich bei der Organisation von neun nationalen und internationalen Sakyadhita-Konferenzen seit 1987.

Sie ist Mitbegründerin von acht Schulungsprogrammen für Frauen in den indischen Himalaya-Regionen.
